Counsel with Heenan Blaikie, Mr. Bureau has spent his professional career in the field of communications. He is currently Chairman of the Board of Astral Media Inc., Viewer's Choice Canada, Historia, Séries +, Canal Indigo, Teletoon, Musique Plus and TV Max Plus Productions Inc. He is also a director of The Guarantee Company of North America. From 1983 to 1989, Mr. Bureau was Chairman of the Canadian Radio-Television and Tele-communications Commission (CRTC).
Dian Cohen, C.M., President, DC Productions Ltd.
Dian Cohen is an economist and a partner in her own economic consultancy. She is also the author of a number of books on money management, investing, social and government policy issues. Ms. Cohen is the recipient of many literary awards, as well as the Order of Canada in 1993. In addition to her role on the Great Lakes Hydro Income Fund Board, Ms. Cohen is a director of the Canada Foundation for Innovation, Dorel Industries, Norbord Inc., and Fraser Papers.

Harry A. Goldgut, Co-Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Brookfield Power
Involved in the electric power industry since 1985, Mr. Goldgut joined Brookfield in 1997. He has been actively involved in developing and expanding Brookfield's power operations in North America. He also played an active role in the restructuring of the electricity industry in Ontario as a member of Ontario 's Market Design Committee.

Former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (1990-1992) and President and Chief Executive Officer (1981-1990) of Ford Motor Company of Canada, Limited, Mr. Harrigan is a director and advisor to several Canadian and international corporations, including Gerdau AmeriSteel Corp., Samuel Manu-Tech Inc., Camco Inc., Kim-Tam Truck Leasing Ltd., and AM 740 Toronto.

Mr. Legault joined Brookfield in 1989 and has held a number of positions in the power and forest products sectors within the company's operations. In addition to his current position with the Fund, he is President and Chief Operating Officer of Brookfield Power.
