Hydroelectric power is a renewable source of energy.

The Great Lakes Hydro Income Fund is one of the North American leader's in the production of clean and environmentally friendly hydroelectric power. All of the power we produce comes from naturally flowing water, a gift of nature that is abundant and readily available.

The Fund's goal extends beyond simply meeting the demands of stakeholders for clean power. The Fund has implemented a program of sustainable development to ensure that it consider the demands of all stakeholders - including unitholders, employees and other users of the natural resources - today and into the future.

This program, developed in the context of the stringent standards of ISO 14001 environmental certification, embraces the principles of economic prosperity, social well-being and environmental protection.

Over the years to come we will continue to manage natural resources in ways that ensure sustainable development to protect and enhance the ecosystems and communities affected by our activities while managing a successful business.
